I take been fighting with the company to shut my credit carte du jour over over 4 months now. Fees keep racking upwards and they will not close account. They keep telling me it closed but not delinquent on my credit report. Y'all tin can not talk to anyone here in the Usa.

Long story brusk, huge mistakes in my youth and missed chances to abound because of ignorance acquired me to not but make my life harder, but to also scare me away from thinking whatever bank in the earth will even talk to me. I take finally opened a successful bank account with a local credit wedlock, started looking at credit much more than seriously and developed a huge drive to not only prepare my credit, merely to get approved for the best cards I NEVER DREAMED of getting approved for before, and all of this is thank to Credit One giving me a yeah on my application.

Just like the fearfulness of rejection from a person, running your credit and putting yourself out there is a hard affair to do, especially when you always see or hear a no, just a closed rima oris doesn't get fed and eventually, someone will say aye and that someone'south is Credit One. Don't listen to the talk about the fees (unless yous genuinely cannot afford them), don't let the APR deter yous (exercise everything y'all tin can to pay information technology off monthly!). This carte started my growth, and in just shy of two years since I started I at present have four other cards with limits exceeding 4k a slice, a used car loan, and a fico score on the verge of 710. You can do it, y'all can set up it, don't run from a future where you lot accept options for help and rewards you lot've earned, it all starts somewhere.

I've just been doing business organisation with Credit Ane for a few months simply thus far, I accept had nothing but positive experiences with them. Their website is easy to navigate and their customer service is friendly. Yes, the rates are a chip high merely for those of us rebuilding our credit, that's the nature of the beast. I appreciate them for taking a hazard on me when no 1 else would. All-in-all, I think Credit One is a slap-up bank to do business with if yous're trying to rebuild your credit or trying to constitute credit.

This is my second carte with Credit One. I see a lot of people bashing this bank. But they tell you everything upfront...you just have to do your function and read it. Yeah in that location a lot of fees, only they have risks on a lot of people and get shafted by a lot of people. They gave me a card when about wouldn't. I accept had Zero issues with them. I know when I make a payment, it will accept a few days to show on my available credit. No problem. These cards were not designed to live off of. If y'all tin can be responsible, this is a skilful card to rebuild your credit. Every time I cheque my credit file, both Credit One and Capitol One bear witness exceptional payment history. It is allowing me to slowly build back the credit I and then foolishly ruined.

Had an AMEX account and attempted to schedule a payment on April seventh for a afterwards date simply went past the date calendar and attempted to cancel but the payment posted immediately and called to see if they could cancel on their end and was told that they could not and I was instructed to contact my bank to have the payment refused.

My Bank said they would attempt to refuse payment but it had already posted and and then I had to dispute the charge to take the funds returned to my bank account. I followed up with Credit 1 Bank to let them know that I had to dispute that payment but would be making payment in full on the 14th. I so received an email on April 13th stating my AMEX account had been closed. I called asking why and that I was going to make payment equally promised on the 14th merely was told I would demand to submit a statement from my bank and a letter to why the payment was being disputed. Actually????

I then attempted to make an online payment to my other business relationship and could non maxim the account had been suppressed. SO I called Again... and was told for security reasons they would need a statement from my banking company regarding payment and then the account could be released. I so told her to close both accounts. This is totally unacceptable business organization exercise.

I applied for this card when my credit was just miserable. I don't believe I was in a higher place 550. I received the card and started making purchases and paying them off immediately. At present remember, not just are you paying dorsum your bills and whatever interest, but you are as well paying almost $ten just to have the carte. Not exactly piece of cake for someone who is obviously in bad fiscal shape.

They pretend to be looking out for yous and getting your credit up. As with near businesses, I find this to be lacking. I had this card for over 5 years while having moved on to other cards with much better returns. And then, I tin say, it did heighten my credit. Well, it gave me the opportunity to. I had paid off this whole card, merely they continued to charge the $x. I tried multiple times to call and cancel the menu, but they transfer 5 times (not an exaggeration) and repeatedly tell you that if the telephone call gets dropped, y'all the card won't be cancelled. In that location are no other options to cancel the card, even online in the site. Later on 5 years of repeated attempts, I accepted that this is just a price I will pay for getting myself into the hole I did.

I missed my first payment in those 5 years this calendar week. I forgot, honest error. Saturday morning, my jail cell telephone and piece of work phone both take 4 missed calls from 8am to 11am. I called the company furious, telling them if I did not go this cancelled I would be looking into other channels and contacting the Better Business concern Agency. The rep was very smug and asked if I could afford the $20 (with additional late payment) on my account which I happily provided to him. Magically, my card is now cancelled... subsequently 2 additional transfers to 2 people trying to get me to stay on with free months. I told them I know information technology is not their fault, their company disgusts me and I do not desire them to receive some other dollar from me.

In summation, the menu can work for what it says it does, only they are looking to accept advantage of people with no money. If I had messed up when I began with the card, I imagine I would have had multiple missed calls every unmarried twenty-four hours until information technology was resolved. No ane should go through that stress and no company should put people through it. Pros: It worked. It probably cost me fashion more than coin than it should take, just my credit is at present in Excellent territory. Cons: Way too many to list, but the hoops you demand to go through to go out of the card should be enough for you to wait elsewhere.

I'd like to elect 0 stars. Credit One is the worst company. Fraudulent charges striking my account for months and months. Admittedly I should have watched my account much closer, however, when I discovered the charges, I was refunded within 24 hours. I take been fighting to get my money back (that I too and they owe me) for 6 weeks! Worst customer service, worst experience I take e'er had with a company.

I went to pay my cards and without my knowledge they were closed. I have paid early on and on time for the past 2 years. When I spoke to someone I was told that they couldn't do annihilation about it. This is after I tried to contact customer service several times via Facebook considering yous can not get a live person. Fine with me. I'll pay them off this week and exist done with this high Apr. Wow. Thank goodness I don't take to bargain with them.

Practise Non become this carte. You lot will bargain with a bunch of scammers from Bharat and Vietnam and they Will STEAL your personal information and coin. TRUST ME- DO Non GET THIS Menu and save yourself the headaches.

I would requite 0 stars if that was an pick. Also the absurd fees, the customer service could not be whatever more than frustrating. I have not been able to connect to the app for over 2 months. I went to the website to try to access my account in fright I was being bombarded with late fees etc.. I could non access my account there either. Password recovery was painful and later on all that, I was still unable to log in afterward setting a new countersign. I chosen client support, firstly there were no menu options to speak to representative and every number listed on the customer support page goes to the same bill of fare. I stayed on the line for perchance ten minutes letting the carte options cycle and eventually my call was received overseas by a representative who would not even listen to my bug without announcing my total SS# over the phone (even though I had to enter information technology to even initiate the call).

I chosen again and asked to be connected to a supervisor. This process (the second telephone call) took about 20 minutes. This representative was too unable to provide any useful information. This company will send a promo e-mail nearly everyday but I have to jump through hoops to get someone on the phone. Completely unacceptable service.
