H:\document.dr. is currently in apply. Try over again later
Windows seven clients Server 2008 R2 serverA number of users are reporting when they try saving documents on their H:\ drive they are getting 'H:\certificate.doc is currently in use. Try over again later'
Apparently it only seems to happen with Give-and-take documents
Any ideas as I'm baffled!

Check your issue logs on your file server where these files are located. We had similar problems and the issue was picked up by an effect in there, if you Google information technology the ready will be at that place.Distressing I tin not be of more use just going on a similar issue we had but I was not straight involved in the ready.

Are you mapping home drives with a logon script or GPO?

Nosotros have the aforementioned effect here as well just with Discussion 2010 and Powerpoint 2010. Only seems to be with laptops (they utilize offline files) and the H: drive is mapped past the user business relationship so non by GPO or Login script.Nosotros dont know why its happing either and its driving the teachers mad! the only matter we have done to limit it as much equally possible is to disable auto salve which was ten mins.

I presume a reboot of the workstation clears things? What most logging off and back on?
If the home drive is non accessible from Word for example, tin it withal exist accessed from Computer?
Ane possible theory or caption is an intermittent network problem or something like autosave unable to write to the home directory. Does this problem happen on wired or wireless clients? or both?

I had a similar trouble today - a user couldn't impress from Publisher 2010, but could from other Function 2010 applications.Deleting the locally cached contour cured it.

I Haven't no. What this achieve as it would only close down the file? ITs getting quite frustrating at present equally there are quite a few user complaining they have the aforementioned consequence.Originally Posted past jamesbrown
I have tried replicating the problem and its very intermittant on when the "File In Apply" comes up. Sometimes information technology could exist later on 3 Saves of the document, or sometime many more than than that.
