Dry Lips Should Love Japanese Spring and Richly Revered, Two of the Cremesheen Glasses from Daphne Guinness for MAC - Makeup and Beauty Blog

Wearing MAC Cremesheen Glass in Japanese Spring on my lips

The Cremesheen Spectacles ($xviii.50 each) in the new Daphne Guinness for MAC collection are amidst my favorite pieces in the release because I think they're also amongst the easiest ones to wearable.

The drove catapults onto N American counters December 26 and internationally a piffling later in January with four Cremesheen Glass shades — Borealis, a pale grayish pinkish with iridescent pearl; Japanese Spring, a pale dirty pinkish; Narcissus, a dingy eggplant; and Richly Revered, a deep plummy chocolate-brown. I've been wearing two of the four this week, Japanese Spring and Richly Revered, and because of how sheer they are, we become along but great.

Japanese Bound looked familiar to me when I met information technology, but it took me a trivial while to place. MAC Ever So Rich — that'south what it reminds me of — ane of my favorite Cremesheen Glasses of all time.

I recollect Spring'south light touch of pink is what keeps it looking natural, and I like the subtle kick it gives to pink and purple lipsticks when it's worn on top.

Sheer plummy dark-brown Richly Revered, the second shade I've been wearing, strikes me every bit a good work shade. I like that I don't accept to wear it with a lip liner, which is something I feel I usually have to do with more than pigmented glosses.

Have you tried any of the Cremesheen Glasses earlier? What do yous think of the fashion they feel? I find myself liking them fifty-fifty more than this time of year when my lips are dry. They but feel so good…and comfy. Moisturizing, non-sticky (great for windy days when y'all have long hair) and smooth, too, they're the glosses I attain for when my lips aren't 100 percent. I also love that signature MAC vanilla taste and odor. 🙂

Besides bad the Cremesheen Glasses don't last almost as long on my lips as MAC'south Lipglasses exercise (about ii hours vs. iv-5), but that'southward alright by me. With something this comfortable, I don't mind having to reapply.
